Known for his diverse use of materials and mark making, Daniel Mantilla’s art explores ideas of adventure and surprise. He recently wrapped a successful solo exhibition at the renowned Hunter College Art Galleries in New York. During his Liquitex Cadmium-Free Research Residency at Residency Unlimited, Daniel worked on six canvases where he explored the recurring themes of resourcefulness and resilience.
